Chinese Peak shoes have been wooing NBA stars to endorse their basketball shoes and the latest recruit was Houston Rockets guard Ron Artest. Ron Artest is one of the strongest players in the professional basketball league when it comes to defense. In fact, he was named 2004 Defensive Player of the Year. Although he has been in Ron Artest fight recently, he is still one of the most sought-after guards for the Rockets.
Last March 2009, Ron Artest officially endorsed Peak Shoes to be his basketball shoes for all of his basketball matches for the Houston Rockets. The makers of Peak Shoes Fujian Co. designed a personalized signature basketball shoes for Ron Artest. He is the third to have a Peak shoes named after him following Jason Kidd and Shane Battier.
Ron Artest Peak Shoes come in colors: red and black. The colors coordinate well with the colors of the Houston Rockets jersey. Ron Artest have been spotted wearing the Peak Shoes in his latest NBA games.
As Peak Shoes and Ron Artest aim to dominate the US market by recruiting more NBA players to endorse and wear Peak Shoes, the company is slowly putting Nike, Adidas and Reebok into marketing rampage this year.
